      Timothy Baker (1750-1812) served as private in Capt. Asaph Cook's company, Col. Gideon Warren's regiment, 1780, in defense of the northern frontier. In 1793 he sold land in Cornwall, Vt., to Elisha Hurlbut. He died in Vermont.

      Aaron Baker (1726-1802) served as a private from Pittsfield, Mass., Capt. William Francis' company 1777. He was born in Northampton; died in Pittsfield, Mass.
